This site presents the Berean Standard Bible, a modern English translation dedicated to the public domain on April 30, 2023. The text may be copied, shared, and used freely. Attribution is appreciated but not required.

The Holy Bible, Berean Standard Bible, BSB is produced in cooperation with Bible Hub, Discovery Bible, OpenBible.com, and the Berean Bible Translation Committee.

This reader uses the official BSB USJ v5.9, released 13 August 2026. Source release.

Type a word in the header to find it across the Bible. Inflected forms are included, so overshadow also finds overshadowing and overshadowed. Several passages can share a page if you separate them with a comma or semicolon: Lk 4:18, Lk 4:16–30.

The א α control in the header turns on original-language lookup. Tap an English word for its Hebrew or Greek form, a brief lexicon article, and every other BSB verse that uses that Strong’s number.
